The Rules and regulations for a Pakistani to travel to Saudi Arabia with the precautions of Baggage limitations.


During National/International travel, the main issue that we face is taking luggage that is allowed onto a flight. People dont know the type of luggage they are not allowed to bring alongside them and they have to leave most of their stuff at the airport and this makes their flight unbearable and uncomfortable. 


Now Following the Rules given the Government of Pakistan for Baggage Rule 2006 ,we can understand the mandate of commodites that are permitted to bring along on a flight. Before going on with the details ,we all know sone common thngs that are restricted internationally that include guns, sharp weapons,these are strictly prohibited to take into any airport around the globe. But there are many things of which we probably can get confused whether we should take these things with us or not.



 IS FOOD ALLOWED OR NOT?

People often think food can be taken onto a flight but according to the PIA 2006 rulebook ,any type of food cannot be taken onto a flight.But this rule can be bypassed if the food is properly packed,sealed and present inside the luggage bag. Another commodity is water.Although we cannot take our water bottle with any type of liquid inside with us,it will be taken unless it is inside our luggage bag.




There are certain food items such as Gajjar ka Halwa (Carrot Pudding) or khusk Mawa jat Halwa (Dry fruit Pudding) that are mostly legal to take onto flights in Pakistani airports but according to the legal rule and regulations, the airport can decide if we can/cannot take such products with us considering they are not suspicious of such products.
 
But different countries have varying rules that must be followed to ensured a smooth and silky travel.
For example, for travelling to the British islands including Scotland and England, we must never bring along any products including meat or fruits, this includes noodles/spagetti with meat,sandwiches, fruits/seeds,and any product containing cream or dairy derivaties.

What are the Rules about Drugs?

Drugs are completely off the charts and are not allowed to bring onto a flight into or out of Pakistan.If someone is caught with Heroin, Drugs, Cigarettes,Narcotics other intoxicating agents, he is immediatly apprehended and penalized by the local authorities. We cannot bring alcohol,intoxicating food and liquids as they are illegal under the Prohibition (Enforcement of Hadd) Order, 1979.

Just like different nations have varying rules for food items, these countries also have contrasting regulations that must also be followed. We can take the example of The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia where we can only take 2 sticks of cigarettes onto an airport, if any personnal has more than 2 sticks ,his baggaged will be seized and he will be penalized. Watch this video for more information regarding limit of drugs we can take with us along to Saudi Arabia.
